The Comox Valley United Soccer U13 Select Girls travelled to Surrey to participate in the Surrey Mayors Cup Tournament on March 10-12, 2017.

The girls successfully defeated Kelowna UTD Demolition 1-0 and took a 2-1 win over NSGSC Warriors in a tie breaker shootout to then dominate with a 4/0 win over SUSC Crush.

The final game was played against SFC Pegasus resulting in an exciting 1/0 win in a final shoot out.

The girls played with grit and determination ultimately bringing home the GOLD for the U13 Div 2 tier.

The team would like to thank our generous sponsors, Budget Blinds- Comox Valley and John Kalhous - Royal LePage. In addition a huge thanks to our coaches Claudia Vachon, Brennan Macdonald, James Warren and Jim Stewart.

The girls will finish off their season with the Island Invitationals which will be held in April.
