Gladstone Brewing Company releases another bottle project
It was only four months ago that Gladstone Brewing Company beer was only available by the pint or growler at their tasting lounge. On Tuesday March 28, Gladstone is releasing their third packaged beer product – a bottled Brett Saison, with more releases soon on the horizon.
The Gladstone Brett Saison was aged in wine barrels for one year, fermented with
Brettanomyces, and bottle-conditioned to create a well-balanced, sophisticated flavor profile.
"With a beer that takes more than a year from start to finish, and with all that is involved in production, conditioning, and packaging, there have been so many people knee-deep in this project," says owner, Daniel Sharratt. "Almost all of the team here has been a part of the process, and so all of us are happy to see it hit the shelves."
Later in the week, the celebration continues! Gladstone Brewing Co. will be hosting brewer-led tasting at their headquarters on Thursday, March 30 at 4PM. Assistant brewer, Ryan Steffler will lead a tasting orientation on the Brett Saison, giving participants an insider's perspective on the process, with tasting notes.
The Gladstone Brett Saison 750ml bottle is a limited release, exclusively available at Gladstone Brewing Co., 244 4th Street in Downtown Courtenay.
